We bought this painted this weekend in Canton. Perfect for our Stella Grace! (Sunday, Nov.1 2009)
As mentioned before, Daddy really wanted an LSU onesie for Stella to wear AT the hosital. AND as mentioned before, we never foudn one in town. Instead, we turned to the internet. Dadddy found this one on Etsy and determined it was the one. SO, we bought it and it turned out so cute!! Geaux Tigers!
I also need to add that this changing table will be scooted down a good bit and the armoire will go in that corner when it comes in.
And it's all coming together!
Mommy painted this stool while Daddy watched! He really wanted to help but I had it all under control...lol.
We also found this piggy bank for Stella. Gotta love Ross Dress for Less!
Then we bought baskets for the changing table. They were 50% off at Michaels and you already know mommy is a bargain shoppper! (We already had the rug before we even knew the gender)
VOILA!!!....Daddy did a great job!
The following week after finding our it was a girl, Daddy went on vacation and Mommy put him to work on Stella's room! THIS was the first thing we did....put up this fabulous chandelier.
GENDER DAY: ITS A GIRL!SO, here is where we found out the gender of our baby. After shopping all day for the perfect LSU outfit from Daddy (we didnt find anything), we shopped that night for a dress for Stella to wear home from the hospital. Daddy and I both agreed on this dress. Cant wait to see her in it!!
This is the look I was going for if it turned out to be a girl.... and what do ya know!
REMINDER: We still do not know the gender of our baby at this point.
This changing table was a discount store find.I paid $30 bucks for it. It was originally natural wood color and we spray painted it white. Momma's a heck of a bargain shopper!
This bed is a family tradition in Nick's family on the Tuminello side. His mom and three other sisters, their children, and Nick ALL slept in this bed. So we are carrying on the tradition with our Stella Grace.
This picture was also taken prior to the knowledge of our baby's gender. Look at all the pink!
This picture was taken before we knew the gender of the baby. YES, you see pink......When we starting planning to have a baby, I prayed and prayed for a baby girl (for reasons from my childhood). Not only did I pray, but I bought....YES....I was not even pregnant and I bought for a girl. AND what do ya know...it paid off!
